Take Flight with Grace (poem)

Take Flight with Grace

In the wake of all that’s been

Said and done,

Known and strange deceptions.

Those beasts of old

Continue on,

Unmindful of their actions.

Through smoke and pain

Sick feelings endure

And fester in the ashes.

Whilst the heart bleeds

onward for the cure and

Breath so often catches.

Get up, get up and rise again.

This story is the past and

should not be spoken.

With pure intent take

Flight with grace,

This soul has not been broken.
