Love’s Fool (a poem)

Love’s Fool

Love’s fool, I must give my heart,

Led by the stars in my eyes,

Every glance a thrilling event,

To capture sight of that spark,

Chased to your eyes by a smile,

Brush of your arm against mine,

A velvet leaf or butterfly wing,

Enchanting, your voice rings,

Tiny bells on breathless breeze,

A gentle laugh and soft gesture,

I am lifted by wings on my heels.
